My name is Ute Platzer, and I'm a biologist. I like plants a lot, that's why everything here looks so green. Another of my hobbies is - as you may have guessed already - programming. I started about 12 years ago with GWBASIC, later switched to QuickBasic and VisualBasic. Now I use Java. Not because I like it so much but because I used it at the office and I prefer not to switch between different programming languages every day.
