Low clouds cover the Lake District
This is Swirral Edge, the easier of the two rigdes that lead up to Helvellyn.
Everybody made it to the top!
Sunny weather in the afternoon. The red-brownish plants are ferns.
Beautiful view back up the valley...
... and down to lake Ullswater and the pub!
Two weeks later: walking the Hadrian’s wall.
All the white spots are sheep.
